Losing Time

Have we lost our mind? No. Okay, just a little.

Let’s be honest: one novel at a time is the sensible, “adult” way to do things. But where’s the fun in that?

If you’ve been following my journey, you know I can’t help but get swept up in the stories that take over my brain. Lately, that’s meant not one, but two completely different worlds competing for my attention. I know, it sounds like a recipe for total writer’s block, but honestly? It’s been an absolute whirlwind.

Here is what’s keeping me up at night—well, mostly at my keyboard:

The Time-Travel Mystery

Imagine being a normal young woman one minute, and then suddenly getting caught up in a literal whirlwind! I’m currently stuck in the past with a protagonist who has to solve a total puzzle of a mystery. The stakes are high, the history is twisty, and she’s racing against the clock to save a friend who is way out of their depth.

The Tropical Island Feud

On the flip side, I’ve got a story about two best friends who head to a tropical island for the ultimate getaway—only to find themselves smack in the middle of a centuries-old, high-tension feud. It’s got all the drama of the past meeting the present, and yeah, maybe a little bit of swooning happening, because how could you not fall for someone stuck in the middle of an island mystery?

It’s definitely chaotic juggling two completely different vibes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. One day I’m researching historical details, and the next I’m dreaming of island sunsets and hidden secrets.

Which one would you want to read first? Do you prefer the history-mystery or the tropical island drama? Let me know in the comments—I’m dying to hear what you think!
